The Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Northwestern is widely regarded as one of the best infertility units in the country. It provides a comprehensive array of clinical services, including advanced surgical approaches and a highly regarded program in In Vitro Fertilization(IVF). The four full-time clinicians are all board-certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. The faculty includes two Ph.D. clinical psychologists, two physician-scientists, and a Ph.D. IVF laboratory director.
High service standards
All clinical services other than surgical procedures requiring an operating suite are provided in a single location in downtown Chicago on the campus of the Feinberg School of Medicine of Northwestern University. The unit is open seven days a week all year round. It is staffed by two teams of highly trained nurses who coordinate the care provided in both the office setting and the IVF program.
While our unit sees approximately 1,300 new couples a year, the scale of our program still enables us to provide highly personalized care. You may request to speak directly to your own physician at any time. All routine phone calls will be answered within 24 hours. Urgent phone calls, particularly after hours or on weekends, will ordinarily be answered within 20 minutes. Patients will hear back from their own physician unless he/she is out-of-town. The physicians of the unit share weekend availability.
