The Travel Medicine & Immunization Center (TMIC) offers complete travel care, from immunizations and preventative medicine, to post-travel care in the event of an illness. If you return home ill from your travels, the nurses at the TMIC can assist with scheduling an appointment for you in the Infectious Disease Clinic at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. In the event you prefer to see your physician upon returning home hill, your primary care physician will have received a copy of the immunizations administered to you from the TMIC (if you choose to sign the consent authorizing the release of your immunization records to your physician). You can travel with peace of mind knowing there is treatment readily available upon your return.
