Kirsten Webb CNP, CDE is a Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified diabetes educator for Lifestyle Medicine at Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation. Kirsten received undergraduate degrees in Biology from Indiana University, Bloomington and Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from University of Cincinnati. Kirsten earned her Master’s degree in Nursing from Loyola University Chicago. She worked as a family nurse practitioner at University of Illinois Chicago in the Nutrition and Wellness center before joining the Center for Lifestyle Medicine team in early 2009. Kirsten’s clinical experience is in the management of weight loss and diabetic patients. She also provides diabetes education and management; which includes self-care, insulin adjustment, and insulin pump therapy.
Erin McCarthy MS, RD, CSSD is a Registered Dietitian and Sports Dietitian at Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation in Chicago. She recieved her undergraduate degree in Nutrition from University of Illinois. She completed her dietetic internship and masters degree from Rush University Medical Center. She has worked inpatient at Resurrection Medical Center and then went on to be the bariatric dietitian at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago.
Erin is a board certified sports dietitian and is certified in weight management for adults via the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She specializes in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), bariatric Surgery, weight management, and sports nutrition. She has published articles in Nutrition & Metabolism, Practical Diabetology, Journal of the American Dietetic Association. Holly Herrington, MS, RD, LDN, is a Registered Dietitian in the Center for Lifestyle Medicine at Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation. Holly received undergraduate degrees in Marketing and Human Sciences from Mississippi State University as well as a degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from the University of Mississippi. Holly completed her dietetic internship and received her Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition from Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. She worked as both an inpatient and outpatient dietitian at Rush before joining Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation in 2009. Holly is a member of the American Dietetic Association and the American Society for Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition. Holly’s clinical interests include weight loss/bariatric surgery, diabetes management, cardiovascular health, gastrointestinal health and prenatal nutrition.
